Benefit HOOLA Zero Tanlines & Dew the HOOLA review

I know I am late jumping on this bandwagon, but today I will be reviewing the Benefit HOOLA Zero Tanlines & Dew the HOOLA.

I purchased both of these at a Spanish Airport back in May (don't judge that it's taken me so long to do this) I don't remember how much they cost me but the prices they cost in boots are; HOOLA Zero Tanlines - £19.50 & Dew the HOOLA £22.50.

First up, is the Zero Tanlines HOOLA.

I am one of these people that does not have the patience to fake tan, I get to impatient waiting for it to dry and I just cannot be bothered. This product is amazing if you're on your way to a night out or it's the beginning of summer and you want to get those pasty legs out. It comes with it's own applicator which is hidden in the lid and an easy squeezy bottle. Once you have rubbed this in it drys instantly and doesn't transfer onto your clothes. Depending on the coverage you want from this it is defiantly build able so it will go as dark as you want. It gives your skin this nice glow and makes you look bronzed. As this isn't a fake tan it is a body bronzer it comes off as soon as you jump in the shower/bath. This product is perfect for lazy people like my who just cannot be bothered to tan.

Next, my favourite of the two the Dew the HOOLA.

I wore this everyday when I came back from holiday, just this on my face and nothing else. As my tan faded I put some of this in with my normal foundation as it was too pale just to give it a bit more colour. When this is blended in (I just used my hands but a brush or beauty blender also works) again it just gives you that bronzed, off the beach look. Powdered bronzers normally tend to dry out my face so this is a god send for me. A little does go a long way with this as the consistency is quite runny but it makes it more spreadable (I sound like I'm talking about Nutella or something)

All in all I give both of the products 10/10. They are fairly pricey so I am using it sparingly!

Let me know in the comments what your favourite bronzers are (liquid or powder) :)

Haul | Lush Skincare and Hair

I love LUSH products and I only really ever buy their bath products like bath bombs etc, but this time I ventured out and bought some new products.

I started lacking in my skincare routine and decided it was time to get back on track so I thought I would try the LUSH skincare products as other products I used tend to dry my skin out.

The first product is the Ultrabland Facial Cleanser.
This is a rich, soft, oily cleansing cream which I am in love with! You place this on a dry face, rub it all in then with a hot muslin cloth wipe away the excess. This leaves your skin feeling super soft. Even though this is an oily cleanser, it doesn't make your face feel greasy afterwards like other cleansers I have tried. The product is made fro Beeswax and Rose cream and is suitable for all skin types. This cost £7.95 tub but in my opinion it is so worth it. It made a noticeable difference to my face from the first application.

Once I have used the cleanser, I then reach for the Breath of Fresh Air Toner Water.
This claims to be a refreshing spray which gets rid of left over dirt, and I have to say it is extremely refreshing! You can either spray it directly onto your face or onto a cotton pad. It smells like lavender and normally lavender gives me a headache but this inst too over powering. I simply spray it directly onto a cotton pad, wipe it over my face and my skin feels refreshed and rid of any dirt that the cleanser may have missed. I also find that this reduces any redness that I may have on my face. This costs £8.50.

At least once a week I use the Love Lettuce Fresh Face mask and I am literally head over heels for this mask.
Not only is it a mask, but when it comes to take the mask off is acts as a face scrub also which isn't harsh on the skin and doesn't dry out the face. It says it's for normal to oily skin but I have a dry T-zone and it works wonders for me. This again smells of lavender but it's not overpowering. The mixture of using this straight out of the fridge and the texture of the mask just makes your skin feel amazing once washed off. At a price of £6.95 it may seem a bit pricey but it goes along way and the results are so worth it.

On to hair now. I have never used their Shampoos because in my mind where they only use natural products I just didn't think they would work. My mum actually bought this and as you do I had to give it a try and I'm glad I did. The shampoo is called Rehab.
It comes out of the bottle very fast and like the mask a little goes along way and you don't need much. When you first pour it out it smells like T-tree oil but it doesn't actually contain any. This hands down, is the best shampoo I have ever used, my hair afterwards is the softest it's ever been. This cost £5.95 and after using this for a while I will defiantly be re-purchasing and trying out their other shampoos.

Everything I have mentioned in this post I will 100% be re-purchasing. My skin has never looked better and it's all down to these so LUSH, well done!

Guess who's back, back again

Hello, long time no speak (well writing)

It has been a while since I did my last blog post, but I am back!

My life has been a whirlwind the last year and I've needed to get my self back together before I even started to think about my blog, and that time has come :)

I'm hoping to post regularly but like I said in my moving post, If I have nothing to go on about there won't be any posts.

Looking forward to getting back into it!

Primark P.S Love your Nails, Nail Polish Fast Dry Spray.

I was having a browse around Primark the other day and stumbled across this little treasure.

It's a spray that claims to dry your nail polish and form a glossy finish. I was VERY skeptical about whether this would actually work!

It is to be applied straight after you have applied your nail polish. It needs to be sprayed about 12 inches away from the nails and left to dry for roughly 60 seconds before you can touch your nails.

I have to say, this product REALLY does work, it instantly forms a protective layer on the wet nail polish that stops it from smudging. However, this does only work for nail polish that is applied thinly. If you apply it too thick it will still smudge!

I do have to say it is quite pricey costing a whopping 80p!

It's defiantly something I will be re-purchasing and I think I'm going to start trying out more of their own branded products.

Make up revolution Ultra Sculpt & Contour Kit

Since receiving my first Make up revolution palette a while ago I have been tempted to try more of their products.

I came across their Ultra Sculpt & Contour Kit. This is a handbag sized version which I'm a sucker for as it saves space in my makeup bag.

There are two different shades of this palette for different skin tones. Ultra Fair C01 and Light-Medium C04. The one I am reviewing is the Ultra Fair C01.

The bronzer is completely matte and very light which is perfect for me. The highlighter is a light peachy colour with a hint of shimmer. The blush, is a pinky/peachy colour with a touch of gold shimmer which I'm in love with. The only issue I found with it was a lot of the product comes off on the brush, but it's only a small issue as a whole the product is amazing!

It cost £3.50 from the make up revolution site which you can go to by clicking here.

I highly recommend this product and I will defiantly be buying more of their products.

I'm Moving!!!

Sorry for the lack of posts....I've been working away for a month non-stop and now I am in the process of moving!

I've lived in London for 22 years (my whole life) and now me,my parents and the dog are upping and leaving to Kent (UK) this Saturday...

I will make a promise once I am all moved in and have internet up and running that i'll go back to weekly blog posts as I've missed it, but just not had the time sadly.

My first one back will either be a new room tour OR something else haven't quite decided yet.

Looking forward to getting back into it

See you all soon! xxx
